We are looking for film makers to expand our film content.

Flight Free UK is a grassroots campaign with the aim of reducing the number of flights we take. We run the flight free pledge which asks people to take a year off flying in order to reduce emissions and create a social shift away from aviation.

We aim to add new films to our collection every couple of months. Each film will explore a different aspect of the subject, from personal testimonials to analyses of technological solutions.

Requirements for each film:

• A project filmed and edited by you, based on a storyboard agreed with Flight Free UK
• No longer than 5 minutes
• Flight Free UK branded throughout (the necessary graphics will be provided)
• Positive, rousing, uplifting, involving engaging, knowledgable and friendly people, with a gentle call to action

Potential subject matter:

• an overland travel story
• a personal testimonial about why someone has given up flying
• an explainer about an aspect of aviation (the Be Inspired tab on our website might provide inspiration for this)
• interviews with members of the public about aviation facts

Timescale: to submit a finished product within six months of a successful application.

We can offer a budget of £500-£800 per film, with a breakdown agreed before work begins.
